Twin Transition and women-led SMEs: GRANDIS’s exchange path starts in Budapest

On May 28 and 29, GRANDIS partners met for the first time in person and officially kicked off the project activities in Budapest (Hungary), hosted by the Lead Partner STRIA South Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency.

Seven countries (Hungary, Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Spain, Germany and Lithuania) work together to addresses gender equality as driver to boost SME competitiveness in the green/digital sectors.

Partners started to exchange views and experiences on the obstacles to female entrepreneurship in the twin transition framework.

Partners also had the change to know better the local business ecosystem with a specific focus on female driven business, with presentations of, among others, the Impact HUB Budapest, the Blue Planet Foundation, and the Union of Hungarian Women Association.

The enthusiastic partners look forward to the next meeting in Winter in Santander!
