TRuST – Traceability of the sterilisation process in hospital textile

The project, co-financed by FidiToscana, and lead by Net Studio srl, works towards improving tracing of sterilisation processes in textile products used in hospital operating rooms. Tracing is carried out using RFID tags with passive UHF technology, substituting bar-codes and HF tags, in order to improve levels of communication. A software system allowes for the management and monitoring of the whole process through user-friendly interfaces based on touch-screen working stations.
