Florence hosts the 50th edition of SMAU – 9/10 July.
The fair, which is mainly dedicated to ICT, this year highlights Smart Communities and Social Innovation as opportunities for regional development.
During the event, TRACE-THEM project – Transparent localisation and identification through etherogeneous metasensor correlation, received the award “Ambasciatori d’Europa” (Europe Ambassador) concerning the Reseanch and Innovation thematic. The project, cofunded by the sixth call EraSME (2009), started in April 2010 and officially finished in December 2011.
Genesy srl, Lead Partner of TRACE-THEM project, received the prize.
TRACE-THEM project researched and defined a new framework and middleware functions for localisation and tracking services. Moreover, TRACE-THEM extended and adapted interfaces of existing, heterogeneous systems in order to develop a new platform.
Resolvo’s role in the project included the conception of the idea, partnership development, project development and draft, partners coordination, administrative management and dissemination of results.
