From the 28-29 November, members of the TANIA project are in Metz (FR) for the third interregional learning event. We are hosted by the Region GrandEst and the University of Lorraine (both partners of TANIA).
The morning of the 28th was dedicated to a workshop with local, national and international stakeholders on the technical and political challenges related to nanoremediation. During the afternoon, there was the chance to see the innovative initiatives currently underway in the region GrandEst to reclaim brownfields. Participants visited the experimental platform GISFI and Ucklage, an ex-steel production plant.
The second day will see a workshop with project partners to start analysing potential solutions to the challenges identified.
