Resolvo was in Lahti (Finland) for the 4th Exchange Event of the TANIA project, during the Scandinavian heatwave (30° and the hottest place in Europe!)
The project held its forth Interregional Learning Event on 15 – 16 May 2018. The public authorities and universities involved in the project have just finished an intensive and constructive 1.5 day event focused on novel technologies for environmental remediation.
The event was hosted by Regional Council of Päijät-Häme and University of Helsinki (Lahti branch), who took partners to visit SOILIA soil research centre and Päijät-Häme Waste Management Ltd, municipal waste management facility. Partners also took part in a series of workshops on policy related to environment and innovation and on various experiences related to TANIA and to nano-remediation.
Lots of ideas, lots of exchange, lots of work to be done to support the roll-out of nano-remediation….Next stop Crete in October.
