The Tuscany SPIA (Space and Photonics Innovation Actors) meeting of the STEPHANIE project was held in Sesto Fiorentino the 4th of December 2019, at the IFAC – CNR headquarters.
The meeting was an opportunity to present the latest activities of the project Phase 1 and its next steps. In particular, the Tuscany Region, project partner, presented the actions foreseen by the Regional Action Plan, which will be implemented during STEPHANIE Phase 2, which will start in January 2020.
The meeting saw also the presentation of Luca Rovai (LAMMA Consortium – IBE-CNR) on the topic of “Weather forecasts in a changing climate: the role of observations” and Ugo Cortesi, IFAC-CNR, who presented the results and application products of the H2020 AURORA project.
