On 16 and 17 May, the partners from SKYLA met in Brussels to launch the project with the first meeting in person.
SKYLA is funded by the Interreg Europe Programme, and it is implemented by 11 partner from 8 European regions, with the goal to put future skills at the centre of the twin transition (green and digital), boosting and adapting the role of Vocational and Educational Training (VET) in innovation ecosystems and smart specialisation strategies (S3).
In the morning of the first day, a seminar on skills and competences for the twin transition was organised to reach out stakeholders and gather insights on state-of-the-art. Guests and speakers joined from the European Commission, Joint Research Centre, OECD and from the Swedish Managing Authority of ESF+.
In the afternoon of day 1 and in the morning of day 2, partners worked interactively in groups and exchanged experiences with the aim to initiate an analysis on the current territorial situation in terms of skills priorities, in each project region.
Resolvo supported the Lead Partner ASEV in designing and managing the project, in organising and moderating the kick-off meeting.
Next round in November, when partners will meet in Swords (Ireland).
