On 7 and 8 November, the SKYLA partners met in Swords(Ireland) for the second project meeting, hosted by the Fingal County Council.
In the morning of the day 1, partners exchanged interactively throughout a series of presentations and workshops, comparing the policy needs analyses carried out prior to the meeting. The partner regions discussed the most relevant needs to support the training ecosystems facing the twin transition, to look for similarities and differences building on a comparative analysis made by the advisory partner EARLALL.
In the afternoon, partners listened to the presentations from 2 experts from SOLAS, State Agency that oversees the building of a world class Further Education & Training (FET) sector in Ireland, and the Dublin Regional Skills Forum (DRSF), part of a national network focused on fostering stronger links between enterprise and education and training providers.
Day 2 was dedicated to site visits to Baldoyle Training Centre, part of the Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board (DDLWTB), and to the Dublin City University (DCU).
The meeting was a great opportunity to get to the core of the exchange with partners and take full speed interactively with the policy learning.
Next round in springtime, when SKYLA will fly to Florence (Italy).
