2024 has proven to be a year full of initiatives for Resolvo, committed to promoting cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence through a series of events and activities organised for the Tuscany Region, in collaboration with the Directorate of Information Systems, Technological Infrastructures, and Innovation.
These gatherings brought together industry experts, local and regional authorities from across Europe, providing an important opportunity to exchange ideas, share best practices, and underline the importance of building a European network for digital resilience.
A series of events on Cybersecurity
The collaboration with ECSO, Major Cities of Europe, and ISAC4Cities resulted in three webinars and one in-person event, addressing key topics in digital security:
- April: The first webinar focused on cybersecurity skills, ranging from foundational knowledge to advanced challenges for citizens, businesses, and public administrations. This seminar was featured on the official site of the European Year of Skills.
- May: The second webinar, which included participation from the European Committee of the Regions, delved into the digital resilience of local and regional authorities across Europe.
- September: The event titled “European Regions and the Progressive Adoption of AI: What Skills Are Needed to Protect and Empower Citizens?” took place in Brussels at the Tuscany Region headquarters. It explored the skills required to address the opportunities and threats posed by Artificial Intelligence, engaging participants in brainstorming and networking sessions.
- December: The third webinar tackled the topic of selecting and retaining cybersecurity experts within public administrations.
Looking ahead
2024 concludes with a significant milestone: the creation of a European network of local and regional authorities dedicated to digital resilience. In 2025, Resolvo will continue its efforts to strengthen this community and promote innovative solutions to address the challenges of the digital transition.
Stay tuned to follow our initiatives and contribute to building a safer and more technologically advanced future together.
