On 22/11/2023, resolution no. 1352 of 20-11-2023 was published which identifies the guidelines for the activation of the Research & Development Calls: RS Call no. 1 “Strategic research and development projects” and Call no. 2 “Research and Development Projects for MSMEs and Midcaps”.
The resolution contains the criteria and methods for accessing funding for projects.
With these calls, the Tuscany Region provides support for investments in industrial research and experimental development of Tuscan companies, supporting cooperation between MSMEs and GIs and between companies and research organisations, also to encourage the ecological transition. The action aims to encourage in particular investments in “market oriented” R&D close to the application and production phase (creation of prototypes, pilot lines and early product validation actions) with TRL of 7 or 8.
The publication of the Call is scheduled for the middle of December, until the end of January (forecasts awaiting confirmation).
