Patras, Greece – December 11-13, 2024
The fifth meeting of the Erasmus+ ENCORE project took place in Patras, hosted by the Hellenic Open University. For the first time, Resolvo joined the project partners, working together in their goal to combine cutting-edge data-driven techniques with a qualitative pedagogical approach. The project aims to enhance the use of Open Educational Resources (OERs) and the ESCO taxonomy of skills to create innovative tools for educators.
The meeting focused on the final activities of the project’s work packages, covering:
- External validation of the ENCORE approach and staff development activities
- Open recognition of skills
Partners, including higher education institutions (HEI), vocational training centers (VET), and ADECCO, presented the results of pilot activities that highlighted the progress in training educators to use the ENCORE approach and platform. The consortium also outlined the remaining activities to be completed in the coming months. Particular attention was given to the Open Recognition platform, with discussions on strategies to actively engage educators and learners in its use. The meeting concluded with the initial drafting of the agenda for the final project meeting. Scheduled for May 2025 in Pisa, the event will feature a final conference dedicated to disseminating the project’s outcomes.
Resolvo is thrilled to have joined the ENCORE project as a partner and to have contributed to such a productive and forward-looking meeting.
