MIDA – Machine intelligence for diagnosis automation

Resolvo is partner of MIDA, an R&D project, funded under the MANUNET Programme and co-financed by Tuscany Region under the ERDF 2007/2013 Programme – Bando Manunet 2012 and UEFISCDI Romania, TUBITAK Turkey.

The MIDA project promotes preventative maintenance in manufacturing plants through the development of a fully automated prototype for oil analysis and fault prediction. The prototype in based on Artificial Intelligence software and online hardware. Oil analysis today is mostly carried out through off-line / off-site procedures and analysed in a laboratory through a standard process. The innovation of MIDA stands, therefore, on the introduction of machine learning methodologies in oil analysis for fault prevention. Read more at MIDA.

Within the project Resolvo supports regional project coordinator Mecoil Diagnosi Meccaniche srl and partner KKT srl in technical and financial management and takes part in R&D activities, particularly methodological aspects. Furthermore, Resolvo is in charge of dissemination activities, with a particular focus on stakeholder involvement and exploitation of results, in order to ensure that the project reaches the market.
