Leicester City Council (UK) will host an engaging workshop with UK and EU professionals active in the energy sector to analyse the economic drivers for the delivery of smart grids.
The event is organised as part of activities funded by INTERREG EUROPE to tackle one of the most complex aspects of our national and regional energy policies. According to the SET-UP partners, only by understanding the economic need for smart grids, can a real case for investment and action be made.
Expert stakeholders from 6 European member States are invited to interact with a panel of speakers on themes such as distribute energy storage, smart meter rollout and low carbon funds. They will share their experiences in a round table debate.
