The SME POWER project partners met in Florence (IT) on the 19th and 20th of April, for the final hybrid event “INTERREGIONAL COOPERATION FOR ENERGY TRANSITION IN SMEs”.
Looking back, the partners valued a cooperation that started in 2019 which clearly contributed to increasing their personal, professional and organizational skills.
The partners presented the results obtained, discussed the legacy that SME POWER will leave in their territories, and talked about future opportunities, discussing the hot topics related to energy efficiency of companies.
Representatives of the Horizon 2020 projects LEAP4SME (Cladua Toro, ENEA) and DEESME (Jacopo Romiti, FIRE) spoke online, who explored the topic of energy audits for companies. Filip Dumitru, FEDARENE, also participated remotely and spoke about the advocacy activity of the organization and presented their recommendations for the development of business support policies.
Ruta Rocane, from the Interreg Europe Program Secretariat, updated on the status of the program and on the currently open Call.
Finally, Valerio Marangolo, from the Tuscany Region, presented the new regional programming on the subject of energy efficiency.
After 4 years together, it was great to see each other for a last time, discuss and plan new activities together, because “SME POWER was a love story”.
