The first Interreg Europe ADAPTO project meeting dedicated to climate change mitigation and adaptation took place in Nicosia, Cyprus on 9-10 May 2024. Representatives from 8 European organisations gathered to discuss ways of tackling climate change challenges.
Participants engaged in discussions on climate adaptation strategies and explored ways to enhance regional resilience. The dialogue also addressed specific climate hazards affecting different countries and potential solutions, emphasising the importance of collaborative efforts involving stakeholders in climate adaptation.
Partners visited the Local Council of Ypsonas and its ongoing projects aimed at mitigating water-related hazards such as scarcity, drought, and extreme precipitation.
After working to support the Lead Partner in project preparation in 2023, Resolvo is now supporting the partnership in the kick off phase, including organisational, methodological and financial aspects.
