Innovate UK has just launched the second round of its Open Programme competition. Thanks to this scheme, Innovate UK intends to support businesses that develop new products, processes and services with commercial potential.
Projects can focus on:
- feasibility studies (including a proof of market)
- industrial research
- experimental development
Funding rates vary depending on the business size and on the type of project submitted. A small business submitting a feasibility study could get up to 70% of their eligible costs.
Total costs for the project must be between £25,000 to £1 million. Projects should last between 6 months to 36 months.
The deadline to register online is the 1st of February 2017 (midday).
Proposals will be accepted until midday on the 8th of February 2017.
